Guide To Claiming Disability Benefits

If you have been involved in an accident and find yourself out of work you may be entitled to claim disability benefits.

The Department for Work and Pensions supports disabled people and their carers and provides a range of benefits and services for people who are sick or have a disability. These benefits are designed to help disabled people and their carers who are unable to work or are not able to earn as much as previously due to an accident. Reduced Earnings Allowance can be claimed if you cannot earn as much as you normally could because of an accident or disease caused by work.

Incapacity Benefit is paid if statutory sick pay has ended.

Industrial Disablement Benefit (accidents) is for people who are disabled as a result of an accident at work.

Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (diseases and deafness) is for people who are ill or disabled as a result of a disease or deafness caused by work.

If you think you have a case or require further assistance or advice on disability benefits why not fill in the claims questionnaire.
