A team of personal injury specialists from Fentons Solicitors LLP got into the swing of fundraising recently, when they took part in a charity Golf Day to celebrate the 30th birthday of brain injury organisation Headway.
Declan Woods, who organised the Fentons team, said everyone had thoroughly enjoyed the June event at Kilworth Springs Golf Club, Leicestershire.
"We thought it was a huge success," said Declan. "We were delighted to be able to support this event and help raise money for the charity, which does such great work for victims of serious injury."
"Fentons is proud of its association with Headway, and the members of our team were only too happy to display their mediocre golf skills - even if it did lead to me spending far too much time in the rough," said Declan.
The team - comprising personal injury specialists Declan Woods, Chris Baxendale, Andrew Taylor and Dave Roberts - finished the day mid-table in the final standings.
"It was great to see so many people come out and celebrate Headway's 30th anniversary and support its important work, and we're already looking forward to - and practising for - the next event," said Declan.
